IIM Bangalore placement is strongest in consulting and strategy. If you want a product or finance role, read the sector table in the statistics section before you decide.
The IIM Bangalore placement report is the institute's own record of offers, and it shows a strong consulting pull. Nearly half the offers came from one sector, and one recruiter group made 101 offers. A student who wants consulting or strategy has good odds. A student who wants a product or finance role should check those smaller sectors closely. The IIM Bangalore placement details below break this down, and the IIM Bangalore average package sits close to the median.
The median IIM Bangalore placement package is Rs 34.75 lakh a year. It was Rs 32.61 lakh for the Class of 2025, a rise of Rs 2.14 lakh or about 6.6%. The median is what a typical student received, so use it for planning. The IIM Bangalore fees page shows the cost side.
The IIM Bangalore placement highlights for 2026 show a higher median and average than 2025, with the same number of firms. The table compares the two batches.

The IIM Bangalore average package is Rs 35.35 lakh for the Class of 2026. It was Rs 34.88 lakh in 2025. The average and median sit close together, which suggests a few very high offers are not lifting the average much.
